After living in our 4,000 square foot family home for over 30 years, my husband and I decided to downsize and move from Alberta to Vancouver Island. It was a very difficult decision for us on many different levels. We were extremely fortunate to have Catherine as our real estate agent finding our new home in BC. Not only is she very knowledgeable about the local real estate market, she patiently listened and responded to what we wanted and needed. She helped us find the perfect home in Sidney (after looking at many possibilities). We are now very happy in our new home and our new life in BC. I was in an accident the day after our offer was accepted and ended up in hospital for six weeks. During that time, knowing that Catherine was handling things at this end meant my husband could concentrate on preparing our home for sale, downsizing, packing and moving to our new home. It was a very stressful time for us, and I will always be grateful that we had an agent who is as competent, understanding, helpful and professional as Catherine. I hope she now considers us good friends, because that is how we think of her.
